How do I organise my angle shots into categories?
Categories are how angle shots are sorted in the library and in every pose picker. Veeton’s own angles come pre-categorised and cannot be changed — you can only recategorise the angle shots you created. Alongside the built-in categories (Adult clothing, Baby clothing, Glasses, Shoes, Bags, Headwear), create your own, shared with everyone on your account.
Set the category of one angle shot
Section titled “Set the category of one angle shot”Open Library → Angle shots, switch to your own angles, then hover the card and click Set category (the tag icon). In the panel that opens:
- The Default and My categories chips narrow the list to built-in or custom categories. Click the active chip again to show both.
- The search field filters the list.
- Click a category to assign it. The shot’s current category carries a check mark.
Remove a category
Section titled “Remove a category”Click the category that already has the check mark — hovering it swaps the mark for Remove. That unsets it: the shot goes back to having no category at all, rather than to a default one.
An angle shot with no category works exactly the same in a shoot, but it moves in the grid:
- It only appears when All categories is selected. Pick any category and it is filtered out.
- With Group set to By category, it sits in a section headed Uncategorized.
Create a category while assigning
Section titled “Create a category while assigning”Type a name in the search field. If nothing matches, Create “your name” appears at the bottom of the panel, which creates the category and assigns it in one step. Names are up to 80 characters and must be unique on your account.
Change several angle shots at once
Section titled “Change several angle shots at once”Select the shots, then use Set category in the selection toolbar — the same panel, create-from-search included. Two limits:
- It only assigns a category, so removing one is done card by card.
- It is disabled as soon as a Veeton angle shot is in the selection.
Delete a category
Section titled “Delete a category”In the Filters panel of the Angle shots library, hover one of your categories, click the bin, then confirm. The category disappears everywhere, and the angle shots that were in it move to Adult clothing — deleting a category does not leave its shots uncategorized.
