How do I organize my angle shots into categories?

Categories are how angle shots are sorted in the library and in every angle shot picker. Veeton’s own angles come pre-categorized and cannot be changed — you can only recategorize the angle shots you created.

The panel offers five: Clothing, Glasses, Shoes, Bags and Headwear. The grid goes one step further when you group by category, splitting clothing into Adult clothing and Baby clothing — that split is Veeton’s own and is not something you assign.

Set the category of one angle shot

Open Library → Angle shots, switch to your own angles, then hover the card and click Set category (the tag icon). In the panel that opens, the search field filters the list; click a category to assign it. The shot’s current category carries a check mark.

Remove a category

Click the category that already has the check mark — hovering it swaps the mark for Remove. That unsets it: the shot goes back to having no category at all, rather than to a default one.

An angle shot with no category works exactly the same in a photo shoot, but it moves in the grid:

• It only appears when All categories is selected. Pick any category and it is filtered out.
• With Group set to By category, it sits in a section headed Uncategorized.

See whose angle shots are whose

On your own angles, the Filters menu has a Created by row that keeps only the angle shots one member of your organization created: Me, or a teammate by name. Click the same name again to go back to everyone’s. The row only appears once at least two members have created an angle shot. Angle shots created before early October 2026 have no recorded creator: they show under no name and come back when the filter is off.

Find angle shots by orientation

The Filters menu — in Library → Angle shots and in every angle shot picker (photo shoot, batch, model swap) — has an Orientation row: Front, Three-quarter, Profile or Back, read from how the body faces the camera in the angle shot’s reference photo. Back also covers bodies turned three-quarters away. Group has a matching By orientation option. Angle shots with no body to orient — a product photographed alone, flat or on a hanger — sit in a section headed No orientation at the end. Veeton orients every angle shot, yours included, and a new one as soon as it is created.
