How to turn a sketch into a product image

Sketch to image turns a sketch — a hand drawing, a flat, a design board — into a rendered product image. Leave the interpretation to Veeton, or steer it with a colour, a material, or both.

  1. In the sidebar, open Studio and click Sketch to image — or use its tile on your dashboard.
  2. Drop your sketches onto the dropzone or browse for them. Each sketch produces one render.
  3. Optionally pick a colour on the wheel, type a hex code, or choose a Pantone shade. Skip it and the colour is read from the sketch.
  4. Optionally upload a texture — a photo of the fabric the product should be rendered in. Skip it and the material is read from the sketch.
  5. Optionally pick the aspect ratio, bottom left. It applies to every sketch in the launch, and starts at 3:4 unless you have set another default under Brand Setup → Generation Settings.
  6. Click Render products.

The colour, the texture and the aspect ratio apply to every sketch of the launch, so group your sketches accordingly.

Results appear in the History panel as they finish, in your project’s gallery when you launch from inside a project, and under the Sketch to image filter in the results gallery.

  • Each render costs 10 credits, billed per sketch — four sketches cost 40. A render that fails is refunded.
  • It is available on the free trial, unlike Tech Pack To Product.
  • You cannot edit a render afterwards with Edit with AI.
  • If a batch only partly launches, Veeton tells you how many sketches were sent — for example “18 of 20 sketches were sent for rendering”.
  • Sketches you upload here are used for the render only — they are not added to your Product library.
  • Renders are not added to a product’s images. To keep one in a product’s catalogue, add it there yourself.
