How to recolor a product

Recoloring takes a product you have already uploaded and renders it in another colour, keeping the fabric, the folds, the shadows and the highlights of the original. It is the fastest way to show a colourway you have not photographed.

In the sidebar, open Studio and click Recoloring — or use the Recoloring tile on your dashboard.

Pick one or several products from your library. Veeton recolours everything you select in one go to the same target colour, so group by the colourway you want rather than by product.

Choose the colour in whichever way suits you:

  • The colour wheel — drag to the shade you want
  • The hex field — type or paste an exact value, such as #7B2D26
  • The Pantone row — Veeton names the closest Pantone to your current colour, and the row doubles as a searchable dropdown, so you can pick a Pantone directly and let it set the colour

Then click Recolor products.

Each result opens with a before / after comparison. Use Split view to drag between the original and the recoloured version, or switch with Show original and Show recolored. Download from the same panel.

Past runs stay in the History panel, so you can come back to a colourway later.

  • Recoloring costs 10 credits per image
  • It needs a paid plan — it is not part of the free trial
  • You can edit recolored products afterwards with Edit with AI, and the editor offers the other views of the same product as guides
