Using Veeton on a phone

On a phone you can open the dashboard, your projects, your results and the Library (products, models, angle shots). Production screens — photoshoot setup, image editor, brand settings, integrations, and the Discover page — show a page instead that names the tool and says why it needs a computer, with Email me this link (it opens your mail app with the link ready to send to yourself) and Copy link (paste it on your computer to continue), and under Meanwhile, on your phone three things you can do right away: review the results, photograph the missing products, recolor a product.

You can add products from your phone: tap Create in the bar at the bottom, then Import products. The camera card takes the photo — one shot at a time, tap it again for the next — and From gallery picks several at once. The toggle beside it says how the photos map to products, 1 per photo or Views of one (front, back, detail… the first shot is the main view), and you can switch until the review. Each photo shows as a numbered tile with a view chip: tap the chip to say which view it is (an untagged one reads Tag view in red), and hold a tile to remove it. In Views of one the photos group under the product you are shooting, marked Now shooting: tap Add another product to close that one and start the next, and the line under the grid tells you when the next photo will open a new product. They land in the project shown in the header, if one is open — see How do I upload new product photos or packshots on Veeton? Review n products then opens the screen for names and references. From a project, Link existing opens your product library with a search field: tap the products you want — a picked tile gets a blue ring and a check — then Link to project. The list shows your own products only (never Veeton’s sample products), leaves out those already in the project, and has no filters, sort or presets on a phone — search by name, or link from the computer for a finer selection. Importing from Shopify stays on the computer.

Your products, on a phone: Library › Products shows, after the tab’s name, how many products match your current search and filters (the total when none are set), then a search field and a filter button — the button opens a sheet with the sort order, the grid density (2 or 3 columns, which your library and results galleries then use — the rows on your dashboard keep their own layout), gender, date, category and tags, plus, inside a project, the choice between that project’s products and all of them, and a counter on the button says how many filters are set. Clear, at the top of the sheet, removes the filters, the search, the tags and a widened scope at once, and keeps your sort order and density. Under it, a row of chips for one-tap filters: All, your three most used categories and, inside a project, This project. Each tile carries its name (or its reference), then its reference and how many views it has; a red Untagged view chip marks a product with a photo still waiting for its view. To act on several products, hold a finger on a tile (or tap Select next to the filter button), then tap the others: a black bar takes the place of the bottom bar with the count, Link (pick a project to add them to — a message says so if they could not be added, and you can try again), Recolor (opens the recoloring flow with them picked) and the trash button (asks you to confirm), and Cancel to leave. Beautify, export, tagging and Shopify stay on the computer.

Your results, on a phone: Results opens on its name and how many results are on screen (with a “+” while more can still load), with Select at the right, then — as in the product library — a search field with a filters button beside it, then chips — All, Photo shoots, Recoloring, Beautifier and Liked — that narrow the gallery in one tap; the filters button opens a sheet with every workflow, the archived results, a Likes section (All or Liked only) and the grid density, and its Clear resets the filters, the liked filter and the search. The cross inside the search field clears the term. Results are grouped by day (Today · 12, Yesterday, then the date). Each tile carries a chip naming the workflow that made it — Shoot, Edit, Beautify, Recolor, Model, Video, 360°, Swap, Editorial, Cutout, Upscale, Product, Extract or Sketch — shows a heart when you liked it and a speech bubble when it has comments (with a blue dot while something is unread); a result still being made shows a ring and Generating…, and a touch-up running on a result dims its picture the same way. Hold a tile, or tap Select, to pick several (a result still generating cannot be selected; a failed one can): a black bar takes the bottom bar’s place with Like (which takes the like back once they all have one), Project (move them to a project, or No project to detach them), Archive (or restore, once they all are; it stays unavailable while a failed result is selected) and Delete, which asks you to confirm; Cancel leaves the selection. Downloading and exporting a selection stay on a computer.

Opening a product, a model or a result fills the screen, with the picture first and the details below:

  • A product shows one photo large, with a rail of its views and AI variants laid over the bottom of it: tap a thumbnail to see it, the camera tile to add a photo, and the chip at the top left of the photo to set its view (front, back, detail…) or, when the product has more than one photo, remove that photo; on an AI variant that chip only says “AI variant” and does nothing. A red dot marks a view still untagged. Below, the details read as rows — name, reference, gender, category, projects, description, plus a tags row when the product has tags — and tapping a row opens a small sheet to edit it, saved as you type. The tags sheet removes tags; to add one, select the product in Library › Products and use the tag menu, as on a computer. A results row reads “Results” while it loads or when the count could not be read (it still opens the gallery), then shows how many results were made with this product in the project you have open, under the filters you last set in Results (it counts up to 30 and reads “30+” beyond; the number comes from a search on the product’s reference and name — a reference that begins another one, like TS1 and TS10, counts both — so a product with neither shows no row) and opens them in Results, with that search filled in and shown in the search bar. At the bottom, Recolor and Beautify start those flows with the product already picked. The ··· button at the top right renames the product, manages its projects or deletes it. Editing a product’s image with AI stays on the computer.
  • A model shows its picture, its attributes, its gallery (tap a picture to see it large) and its description, with Add to favourites and, for your own models, rename and delete. The arrows at the top move to the previous or next model.
  • A result fills the screen with the image (pinch to zoom, swipe left or right for the next or previous result — the swipe pauses while you are zoomed in, and while a video, the before/after view or a source image is showing, two arrows on the image take over from it; a video result plays with its own controls in place of the image), its name and project written over it, and its details below: a Result · Compare · History control at the top switches between the image, the before/after view and the version history — Compare only appears for results with a before and an after, History only once a result can hold versions, and the control is absent when neither applies; the chips show what it was made from (tap one to see it); then the quality check (only when the check ran), the comments and All details open as their own screens. The bar at the bottom likes, comments, moves it to a project and Download — on a phone this opens the share sheet, where Save Image puts it in your photos; if your browser cannot share files, the image opens in a new tab instead, where you can long-press to save it. The ··· button at the top right renames, archives or deletes it. The image editor, relaunching and creating a video stay on the computer.

Deleting anything asks you to confirm at the bottom of the screen. Downloading a result on a phone opens the share sheet (or a new tab, where the browser cannot share files) with the file as it is — there is no file name or format to pick; use a computer for that. If the file cannot be fetched (a lost connection, an expired link), a message says so — reopen the result and try again. Downloading products still offers the file name and the format, and the rest of your export preferences apply as saved on the computer.

You can create a project from your phone: tap New project in Projects, or New in the project switcher at the top, give it a name, and it opens straight away. A new project opens on a Photograph your products card and a rail of the workflows you can run from your phone (All tools opens Create, which also names the ones that need a computer): Add products puts photos taken with the camera into that project, and the workflows run inside it. Once it has results, they appear at the top of the page, above the products and the workflows.

You can run the simple workflows from your phone: recoloring, packshot cleaning, the product extractor, sketch to image, model swap, the 360° product video, and creating a product from a tech pack. Your dashboard lists them all in a rail under Your tools, and Create in the bottom bar lists them under Studio tools; open one and it fills the screen. While a tool is open, the bar at the top becomes its header: ✕ leaves it, the title reads Step 1 of 2 with the project it runs in, and the question mark opens the help centre. Where a tool asks for several things, numbered pills at the top show those steps and a final Launch; tap an earlier pill to go back to it. Picking products shows three columns, with a search field, a filters button and a row of chips: Upload adds a product without leaving the tool, then Project products, Your Library and Veeton Products pick where the grid reads from; a picked tile gets a blue ring and a check. The tray at the bottom shows the pictures you picked, how many, and what the launch will cost in credits, with Clear to undo the current step; the button under it reads Next: … until nothing is missing, then Launch · n credits. The 360° video and the tech pack ask for one thing only, so they show no pills — pick your product, or add your PDF, and launch. These spend credits exactly as on a computer, and the results land in Results. Batch shoots, the editorial builder and the fashion video builder stay on a computer.

Billing works on your phone, and not only to look at it: you can change plan, buy a credit pack, add a card, and pay an unpaid invoice — it opens on our payment provider’s secure page. Usage and past invoices are there too.

Getting around: the bar at the bottom of the screen has five buttons — Home (your dashboard), Projects, Create in the middle, Results and Library — where Products, Models and Angle shots switch at the top of the page. Create opens a panel with Import products and the Studio tools you can run from your phone, and says which tools need a computer. The bar steps aside while a workflow is open, and comes back when you leave it. The Veeton mark at the top left also goes to your dashboard. The project name at the top opens a panel over the screen: your three most recent projects first, each with its cover, its product and result counts and, while something runs, how many photoshoots are generating, or else when the project was created (today, yesterday, a few days ago, or the date); then all the others by name, each with its result count, with a search field. The project you pick becomes the one your results, products and workflows belong to. New creates a project. Leave {project} at the bottom of the panel clears the current project; from that project’s dashboard it takes you back to yours, elsewhere you stay on the page. Home shows your greeting with how many projects are active and how many images you have generated, then — while something is generating — a card with the pictures of that launch, how many are done and about how long is left (tap it to open your results), then the rail of your tools, your latest creations and your recent projects. Your picture at the top right opens your account: your profile row (tap it to edit your details), a credits card with how many credits are left, your plan and the date it renews (or ends, or downgrades), and Top up to buy more — plans that are not credit plans see Configure instead, which opens the billing summary where their overusage is set, since they cannot buy a pack; then your organisation and its seats (a plan without team seats reads Upgrade there instead of a count), billing, referrals (with what an invitation earns you), what’s new, feedback, help centre, Contact support (a chat with our team), language and sign out.

Install it like an app, with nothing to download from a store:

  • iPhone (Safari) — Share → Add to Home Screen
  • Android (Chrome)Install, or Add to Home screen in the browser menu

It opens on your dashboard, always loads the latest version, and does not work offline.
