How to swap the model on a photo

Model Swapping takes an on-model image you already have and regenerates it with a different model wearing the same garment. Use it to widen the casting of a shoot without configuring it again.

How to swap a model

1. Open Model Swapping

In the sidebar, open Studio and click Model Swapping — or use the Model Swapping tile on your dashboard.

2. Pick the try-on result

The first step is Try-on result. Pick the shot you want to recast from the grid of your existing results — use the search box, or the filters for Source (photo shoot or editorial), Favorites only and Archived.

To recast a photo Veeton did not generate, use the Upload an image card at the start of the grid and upload a worn photo (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 30 MB).

3. Choose the model

Pick the model who should wear the garment, then click Choose model.

4. Angle shot and background — optional

Angle shot and Background are both marked Optional, so a try-on result and a model are enough to launch. Left empty, the background falls back to Original background — the one already in your source image — and Veeton imposes no new framing. Set either one to override.

You can also set the format (aspect ratio) from the bottom-left control. It starts on Auto, your brand’s default for this workflow.

Click Swap model to launch.

Review the result

Results open with a before / after view, labelled Original and Swapped. Download from the same panel. Past runs stay in the History panel.

If a run only partly succeeds, Veeton keeps the images that failed selected along with your settings, so you can relaunch just those in one click.
