What are announcements in the notification bell?

The bell icon in the top bar sometimes shows an announcement from the Veeton team — a new feature, planned maintenance, or other product news. While it is unread it sits at the top of the bell’s panel as a highlighted card under “New from Veeton”, with an Open button when there is a page to go to and a Got it button to mark it read without leaving. Once read, it moves down into the list with your usual notifications (mentions, finished generations, exports) as an entry with a megaphone icon.

The bell shows a blue counter with the number of unread notifications (announcements included); past nine it reads “9+”. When something new arrives while the app is open, the bell swings briefly and the counter pops in.

• Language — announcements are written in English and, when available, French. You see the version matching your app language, falling back to English.
• Some can be opened — clicking one takes you to the relevant page or link. Others are just to be read.
• They behave like any other notification — they count toward the unread badge, “Mark all as read” marks them read, and “Clear all” removes them from your bell permanently.
• Audience — an announcement may target your workspace, workspaces on a given plan, or all Veeton users. There is nothing to configure, and no way to post one yourself.
